Overcoming Fear

Overcoming Fear

I have always struggled with the fear of the unknown. I am starting to feel the anxiety building up before my trip back home later this summer. I am already making up scenarios in my head of what could go wrong ( and there is so much!) Have I got the flight date right? How am I getting to the airport? Shall I drive? Get a train? Perhaps the easiest option would be to get a taxi. What if I am late to catch the plane? Traveling alone is always nerve-racking because you rely entirely on your judgment and problem-solving.

I have a few ways to manage my anxiety that worked for me over the years. I do more planning and preparation in advance and give myself a little bit more time. I know that in the end, all will be worth it!
