Have you been turning the reeds? Our reeds need to be turned a lot at the start to get the reeds fully saturated – this helps them fully release their scent. We recommend you flip the reeds 4 to 5 times in the first week and then in future each time you want them to smell stronger.

This is a good sign – it just shows that we use pure, natural oils in our Reed Diffusers. When you see diffusers with oils of all the same colour, it often means that they are not 100% natural, and other chemicals have been included to regulate the colour – we would never do this.

You can send your order directly to your gift recipient. At checkout, you will be given the option to add the recipient’s name, and if you like, you can include a hand-written note by including your message in the ‘notes’ section at checkout. If you order three items, your gift will come in one of our gift boxes free of charge. If you are ordering two items or less, your gift order will come in one of our gift bags.

There is nothing to worry about; our Home Fragrance products last indefinitely if not opened! The reason that the oil may be a darker colour is because we use all-natural ingredients, and different botanical oils will differ slightly in colour depending on the season.

We advise that our diffusers last for up to 8 weeks. 

We introduced black fibre reeds and these are thicker and do use up the diffusers faster. To reduce this, you can remove some of the reeds from the diffuser or use rattan reeds that are available to purchase on our website. 

First of all, unscrew the silver lid from the top of the diffuser, remove the white seal, reapply the silver lid and then insert the reeds.

Flip The Reeds

Two or three times in the first week then whenever you want it to smell stronger. No need to flip if you’re using our black fibre ones.

Use The Right Number of Reeds

Premium fibre black reeds efficiently absorb and disperse aroma quicker than rattan reeds, therefore we would recommend using 4 or 5 reeds initially, then remove more reeds as required. When using natural rattan reeds, use all reeds for the first week, then remove as required.

Direct Sunlight

Try Not To! Essential oils are fragile. Harsh sunlight will affect their delicate scent.

Our diffusers and diffuser refills do come with a set of reeds. To get the absolute best out of your diffuser, we recommend that you use fresh reeds when you refill your diffuser. 

Our standard diffuser size is 100ml, that also goes for our refills too. We also have a 1L refill option available on our website.
